Safety Rules:

1. Remove and keep objects away from the fireplace
2. Light the fireplace only when it is cold
3. Always open the fireplace door slowly
4. Do not spray water on the door glass when it is hot
5. Extinguishing is done by closing the air intake vents
6. You must extinguish the fireplace when leaving the cabin
7. Do not extinguish the fireplace using water
8. Do not light the wood with any lighting liquids
9. May we not need it, the fire extinguisher is located near the fireplace

Good to Know:

1. Control over the heating intensity and duration is possible by adding wood and by using the air regulators
2. Leave a window or door open for ventilation
3. When the fire is burning, the fireplace door must always be closed
4. While the fireplace is working, the fireplace and chimney are very hot; be careful of burns

Steps for Lighting the Fireplace:

1. Open the fireplace door
2. Open the air regulators to the maximum opening
3. Place a pile of twigs / wood chips or pinecones at the bottom of the fireplace, and inside them place one or two cubes of solid charcoal lighter
4. Place one or two logs on the pile (do not insert or cram a large quantity)
5. Light the charcoal lighter cube using a match or lighter
6. Close the fireplace door
7. Ensure the wood is burning from time to time; if needed, turn the wood toward the ventilation openings
8. Opening the door should be done carefully; first open 2-3 cm for a few seconds and then open wide
9. Insert wood in small portions when needed
10. Extinguishing the fireplace is done by closing the ventilation openings
