Galilee Beehive – Kibbutz Shamir

At the visitor center, you can discover the secrets of the apiary and observe the diligent bees and the queen bee within a glass beehive. This glass beehive offers a captivating attraction, allowing visitors to safely witness the life of the bee and the queen bee. You can watch the bee dance, see the worker bees returning with pollen and nectar, and even observe the queen laying eggs and bees emerging from the honeycomb cells.

Exhibition Hall

The visitor center features a well-arranged exhibition hall where you can watch a video about the life of bees and the production of all beehive products: honey, beeswax, propolis, pollen, bee venom, and the entire manufacturing process.
