Dror Winery – Kfar Shamai

Dror Winery is a family winery located in the village of Kfar Shamai in the Marom HaGalil mountains.
The pastoral village is surrounded by wine vineyards, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the Kabbalistic city of Safed, and is named after Shammai the Elder, who was the partner of Hillel, and who according to tradition is buried on Mount Meron or the nearby Shammai Hill.
The area is steeped in history, Halakha, and Jewish mysticism, as well as a wonderful and inspiring view. To this are added excellent soil and climate conditions that make the place outstanding for winemaking.

Open Winery Tour

We invite you to an open tour of the winery which will unfold before visitors the secrets of winemaking and the meticulous cultivation of the grapes. Guests will also be able to enjoy wine tastings and a variety of cheeses, churned in the neighboring boutique dairies. The cost: 25 Shekels per person. Our selection includes a wide variety of red and white wines, as well as fresh pomegranate juice squeezed on-site.
