For the first time this summer, the problem of vegetarian and vegan vacationers will come to its partial solution.<\/h3>\n
The Amirim workers’ moshav of vegetarians and vegans, where the “Nof” group was organized within a recovery unit including members with experience in retreats (today’s B), will cater to all those who abstain from meat and fish dishes, and any food coming from animals. Vegan-vegetarian food will be made available to the vacationers, and prices will be at the level of accepted retreat institution prices. <\/p>\n

The vacationer can also receive a special vegan diet upon the recommendation of a doctor they are connected to. The “Nof” group will also take care of cultural entertainment; reading evenings, records, sing-alongs, games, quizzes, and dances will be held. Short trips in the immediate vicinity will also be organized, as well as swimming in the Parod pool or in Safed; the cycles will be ten days long.
\nIt is worth noting that the initiators see this experiment as a first stage for the development of an extensive vegetarian-vegan retreat branch in Amirim, which will be one of the serious farm branches, since this farm is unique and does not subsist on cowsheds and chicken coops like other farms in the mountains.
\nTo encourage the vacation and tourism enterprise, the members of Amirim want to utilize the slopes of Wadi Tawahin, named after the flour mills that operated there in the past \u2013 the Valley of the Mills. Representatives of the Jewish Agency, the KKL, and the Tourism Bureau visited the site, and their opinion is positive regarding the existing buildings in Wadi Tawahin for the purpose of housing vacationers and hikers. Two of the Amirim members, the Carmeli brothers, even settled in the wadi and will link their future with its future.
\nMoshav Amirim, nestled in the lap of mountains facing the charming view of the Galilee and valleys wrapped in majesty, is an ideal place for this retreat. Together with the possibility of utilizing the beauty of Wadi Tawahin, it promises a healthy retreat, unique of its kind, which has no competitor in our country.<\/p>\n
